RINGFEDER disc clutches

The new RINGFEDER® TND series multi-plate steel couplings are couplings with excellent torsional rigidity and absolute backlash - derived from the proven TSCHAN® POSIMIN® and GERWAH® series - suitable for a wide variety of applications and especially ideal for all types of drives requiring low wear and maintenance. as well as excellent misalignment compensation and positioning accuracy.
 
A characteristic and functional centerpiece of these powerful couplings are the disc / lamella bundles developed by in-depth FEM analysis, which consist of several circular, torsionally flexible individual discs / lamellas made of stainless spring steel joined by high-precision sleeves into a compact unit.
 
Thanks to the unified design of the series and the extensive, highly flexible modular system, one version of the coupling is always available, which is optimally suitable for the individual application of the user.
 
RINGFEDER® TND multi-plate couplings are particularly convincing due to the following features:

• Completely free of will and maintenance
• Highly efficient compensation of angular and axial misalignment of the shaft
• Torsionally rigid with high torsional rigidity
• Low return forces in case of shaft misalignment due to optimal disc design
• Quick and easy implementation of the clutch cardan shaft with two clutches and one spacer
• Transmission torque TKN up to 130,000 Nm, Tkmax up to 220,000 Nm
