The original compact, powerful and proven design of PK brakes leads the market

Warner Electric's popular PK brakes, which have been adopted by more than 30 key OEMs since 2010, are installed on more than 500,000 off-road lifting platforms and forklifts. The advantages of this price-competitive range include a one-piece design for easy installation, lower energy consumption, longer battery life and lower overall maintenance costs.

The PK series (VeryThin) is a pre-assembled dry safety electromagnetic on / off brake. This safety brake is used for parking and emergency braking as well as for certain service braking. The AC motor of the machine is used in combination with the PK brake for regenerative braking of the device. In addition to standard friction material, PK brakes can be equipped with high torque and high energy materials, depending on the application. The coil can be designed for single or double voltage supply and pulse width modulation to reduce power consumption and maintenance.

PK's low-profile PK brakes are particularly suitable for back-to-back configurations such as MEWP and telescopic handlers. These units are sealed to withstand harsh outdoor environments. Models with IP67 protection are available that meet demanding washing requirements.
