The hydraulic expansion technology is almost universally applicable for every type of work piece clamping or tool clamping, both in the area of external and internal clamping. Typical applications are within the areas of turning, milling, grinding or eroding. The hydraulic expansion technology is mainly used within the metal working and wood working industries, but also in the areas of mould making and medical industry.

Diversity
Various methods of actuation allow unmanned automatic operation as well as manual operation. Besides the common tool holders, it is also possible to use exotic tool holders as the machine interface.
