Flexible level sensor with analog signal - the new 298A fuel level sensor from Elobau

With the analog level indicator 298A, elobau brings to the market robust and flexible level measurement for industrial machines and applications for highway vehicles.
The new 298A fuel level sensor expands the range of Elobau products based on level measurement in fuel, cooling, oil, water or chemical tanks. Engineers, vehicles and systems designers and developers benefit from a compact, flexibly configurable fuel level sensor with analog output signal. This output signal is also the main difference from the fuel level sensor 298 that elobau has offered so far. While 298 generates a resistive output signal, 298A uses an analog output signal, either as a current signal in the range of 4 to 20 mA or a voltage signal in the range of 0.5 to 4.5 V DC. This greatly simplifies integration into the vehicle's electrical equipment, as other components such as transducers can be omitted. The simplified output signal allows seamless connection to other vehicle systems, such as the cab level indicator.
