DANFOSS - Gear hydraulic motors in cast iron design - D series

The D-series cast iron gear hydraulic motor has been specially designed for the most demanding applications in mobile machines and devices.
The D-Series hydraulic motors are available with a displacement of 17.6 cm³ to 48.3 cm³. They provide high efficiency over the entire operating range of pressure, speed and temperature. And all this with minimal installation dimensions.

Fan drive hydromotors

D-Series cast iron hydraulic motors complement Danfoss' portfolio of fan drives. Aluminum and cast iron hydrogenerators and hydraulic motors, piston hydrogenerators and hydraulic motors, valves and control units from the Danfoss portfolio can be used in various combinations to create high-performance fan drive systems. The D-Series motors with integrated reversing and proportional safety valve are PLUS + 1® compatible - this allows for easy and fast plug-and-perform installation and offers precise fan speed control to optimize the cooling performance of the internal combustion engine.

Features and benefits

• High-strength cast iron construction allows continuous operation with a pressure of 276 bar and a temperature of 110 ° C.
• Special shaft bearings, together with a pair of pressure-balanced sliding plates with internal lubrication, ensure high starting torque and a long service life of the hydraulic motor from a minimum oil viscosity of 8 cSt.
• Compact three-piece design with bearings located in the front flange and rear cover minimizes overall installation dimensions and increases the radial load capacity of the shaft. This allows the use of these hydraulic motors for most applications without the need for a support bearing.
• Different designs of shaft, clamping flange and hydraulic connections.
